Books and More Books For Children and Young Adults

We added the inspirational Young Reader’s edition of William Kamkwamba’s The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind. It is an astounding account of what you can make of your life if you are willing to stick to your dreams, even when you have next to nothing to work with. We also added more Dr. Suess , the first ten books in the 39 Clues series and a new copy of Summer of the Monkeys. We have added Book two in Leila Rasheed’s At Somerton series – Diamonds and Deceit. It definitely has a Downton Abbey vibe with secrets and intrigue swirling around the upper levels of society and downstairs among the servants. We now have a combined volume of the first books in Heather Brewer’s companion series Chronicles of Vladimir Todd: Eighth Grade Bites and the Slayer Chronicles: First Kill. Last, but I’m sure not least, an inmate works inside a prison to bring justice to victims on the outside in Michael Frederick’s Already Bad, volumes 1 and 2 while he brings us a story from 1850s Virginia in Golly Springs.
